Are you tired of those auctions that are gloried sales. You know the ones where the same dealers list hundreds of items over and over again hoping that just one sucker will bid? They alternate between low bids and inflated shipping charges. And it's never a good deal. Well my favorite auctions are real auctions where the bids start at a buck! Then the buyer who wants it the most buys it!

Well I feel great! I just won an online auction! I used the search engines below and in the Super Stores to comparison shop and found the best price possible. Then I bought it for less than a third of that! Even if I had to pay for it, it's a great deal! But it didn't cost me a penny! That's right, for a short time you can buy things on the Internet for FREE!

Here's the deal! PayPal, the advertiser in the banner above has introduced an online payment service for people who buy and sell things on the Internet. (Actually it can be used to securely transfer money to anyone who has an e-mail account -- even if they aren't signed up with PayPal yet!). If you buy something, and the seller agrees, PayPal charges your credit card and "beams" the money into the sellers account... PayPal doesn't charge any transaction fee. They make money by using the "float" -- the interest they earn while the money is in the account waiting to be withdrawn or spent. This is a great service! It's FREE! There are no transaction costs! But it gets even better! To introduce the service, PayPal will deposit ten dollars in your account when you open it! But even better, for each friend you refer who sets up an account, they will deposit ten dollars in your account! Up to $1000! It takes just a couple minutes to open an account! You do need a credit card, but the card will not be charged unless you spend more than you have in your account! Even then it's treated as a simple purchase -- no cash advance fees or other transaction costs! But for now, you can buy things and they don't cost you anything! Buy them with PayPal's money!

This is too good to be true! Right? I thought so too... But it's not a gimmick! It's not illegal! You really can buy things for FREE! Try it out! This deal won't last long -- I just received mail saying the offer will end soon...

How to really "win" at online Auctions

You can spends hours searching and watching auctions on the Internet.  With most of the auctions, it's important to get a bid in early -- any bid, even if it loses -- to get your start time....  Then be present for the auction close....  Searching for similar items is also important...  Sometimes an item is mislabeled or poorly named -- and sells for much less than it's value because people can't find it.  We saved hundreds of dollars on a special type of "monitor" -- a touch screen -- because it was listed as a "display".  People couldn't find it!  Only two or three of us were bidding on this, a similar item to one that sold for hundreds more!

Before you can bid on an item at an auction you need to create an account.  This doesn't cost anything, although they sometimes will take a credit card number to ensure you're "of age".  Here is a great auction for getting new and refurbished merchandise:
