Boating in the Florida Keys is one of the most popular activities for visitors and residents alike.

You cannot live on an island and not enjoy boating. Most residents don't own a boat. They own two or three boats! Whether you are just sightseeing and enjoying the beauty of a boat ride, headed to the reef for some snokeling or scuba diving, or headed out to do some serious fidhing, you will need access to a boat.

The reef is just a few miles off shoe. But some docks are buried back in a maze of canals that can take a long time to navigate. Be sure if you rent a vacation property that it has easy access to the open water. You will have much more fun in your chosen activity.
